Mississauga Community Ride and Bike Fest: Lake Aquitaine 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Bike Fest information:

Throughout the summer, Bike Fests will be held across Mississauga. These family-friendly cycling events are a great way for new cyclists to grow their skills and confidence on a bike. Learn the rules of the road, get safety tips, have your bike tuned up and become more comfortable navigating the city by bike! Afterwards, participants are welcome to participate in a community ride, led by the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee.

Commmunity Ride information:

START/END: Meadowvale Community Centre (6655 Glen Erin Dr)

SPONSOR: The exclusive Sponsor for the 2018 Community Rides series is Toronto Pearson, our host for the Kick-Off Ride. The *FREE* Community Rides are a series of casual cycling tours in all corners of Mississauga from May through September. Free ice cream will be provided to ride participants, courtesy of Toronto Pearson.

Led by citizen member volunteers of the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee (MCAC), these group rides are an opportunity for residents to explore Mississauga on their bikes.

NOTES: Participants may come early to watch and cheer those participating in the Ontario 55+ Summer Games. The community ride will then use the closed-off Lake Aquitaine Course for part of the route.

Parking will NOT be available at the Community Centre. Participants are encouraged to arrive by bike, public transit, or be prepared to park away from the event and bike in.

Location: Meadowvale Community Centre (6655 Glen Erin Dr)
